Chelsea Newsletter - Monday 25th October
Covering: Abramovich's birthday and celebrating Cobham, Tuchel's words on Hudson-Odoi and plans, Chelsea 7 - 0 Norwich reactions, Armando Broja future, and the general news sweep..
Good morning!
I know it’s Monday but as a Chelsea fan right now you cannot help but feel absolutely buzzing!
We just beat Norwich City 7-0 in the Premier League in what was our second highest ever win, and not only that, it was a victory and a Saturday afternoon fuelled by Cobham.
Our academy graduates are on fire right now, and not just at Chelsea.
As well as that, it was our brilliant owner Roman Abramovich’s 55th birthday on Sunday, and we all know he has been an absolute innovator of turning our academy into one of the best in the world.
So I’ve celebrated both of those in my first piece here.
But let’s deep into that win as well at Stamford Bridge on Saturday here with my unique ‘5 things I noticed’ reaction to our massive win.
Callum Hudson-Odoi was heavily involved in three goals for Chelsea on Saturday and he got on the scoresheet himself. I was pleased with how he played and so was Thomas Tuchel.
I haven’t really voiced my views on Tuchel’s words on Hudson-Odoi from Friday on my Twitter or anywhere else yet, because with my connections there that I know you guys are aware about, I wanted to save my opinion on that for you exclusively here.
As I mentioned earlier, it wasn’t only at Chelsea where our Cobham stars were rising up on Saturday, Armando Broja got a very important goal for Southampton against Burnley, so I’ve got some words/news on him here.
Last but not least, I’ve rounded up all the other little bits and pieces that you might have missed from Sunday related to our beautiful club here.
Thanks for stopping by, and a very warm welcome to all of our new subscribers joining our community! Any questions, I’m always happy to answer in the comments section here!
Thanks all, Si.
