Covering: Leicester 0 Chelsea 3 review, Addressing Pulisic and Mount's 'happiness', Hudson-Odoi thriving, plans to integrate Gilmour and Gallagher, and our general news sweep...
Morning guys and welcome back to the start of another busy week of newsletters from us! Hope you all had a great weekend.
We have just rolled over Leicester City, and now tomorrow we face Juventus in the Champions League group stages.
The games are coming in fast, and so are the talking points.
First of all, let’s go over the Leicester game here with my 5 things I noticed article.
Callum Hudson-Odoi was on fire on Saturday and probably put in his best performance in a Chelsea shirt so far. He also equalled the the most amount of consecutive starts he’s ever had for the club. Read more about that and his decision to reject the England U21 call-up here.
Next up, time to address a couple of ‘stories’ from over the weekend now involving Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount here.
It was also a good weekend for both Conor Gallagher and Billy Gilmour at their loan sides, Crystal Palace and Norwich City.
Gilmour got a rare start and made the absolute most of it getting named Man of the Match, and Gallagher got an assist and played well for Palace. Here is a piece on the pair and Chelsea’s plans to integrate them.
Finally, some interesting comments here from Didier Drogba on Mo Salah, as well as covering all the rest of any other bits of news you might have missed from Sunday.
Assuming you guys all caught the Jody Morris interview with Jimmy Bullard by now? If not, you can get all the key quotes here that I released first to you guys.
Thanks guys, Si.
