Chelsea Newsletter - Monday 21st February
Covering: Palace 0 Chelsea 1 Review, Interest In Eder Militao, Sourced Story On Azpilicueta, Dissecting Chelsea's Lack Of Risk Taking, Plus Everything Else From Yesterday's Live Blog..
Hope you all had a great weekend whatever it was you got up to and for those in the UK and any other areas effected, hope you managed to survive any storm damage from Eunice over the weekend!
This below actually happened in my home City… Which is also the place where Hot Fuzz (the movie) was filmed. And if anyone knows the significance of this let me know in comments, I’ll be super impressed!!
Anyways, back to the football!
Chelsea beat Crystal Palace on Saturday in what was a huge three points for us and so important for the moment we are in. However, it was another lacklustre performance and is a real theme of recent games.
You can check out my reaction article on the game here.
Sticking with game reactions here and the usual debate on Romelu Lukaku that I’m afraid is a debate I cannot see disappearing anytime soon. But those are my thoughts on that and why I do not think it’s necessarily a system problem, it’s actually a lot more simple for me.
A sourced story next on the future of club captain Cesar Azpilicueta amidst real interest coming in from Barcelona. Grab the latest on that here.
Not a lot in terms of transfer noise over the weekend but we do have a transfer rumour to rate here involving another defender as a potential summer target.
Finally, the Live Chelsea News Blog from Sunday here to recap on all the other news you may have missed from the last couple of days.
Thanks for joining us, have a good Monday!
Peace, Si.
