Covering: Fallouts from Saints defeat, Sources on Potter's future, My thoughts on Potter, Mentality still an issue, Settled Xl, Plus all the latest Chelsea news and transfer rumours!
Morning all,
It’s been a tough old weekend as a Chelsea fan, right? The defeat to Southampton for me feels like a turn in the tide. I believe that most Chelsea fans have been prepared to continue backing Graham Potter. But this abysmal loss has really changed the stance of many fans and really tested the most patient ones too.
I’ve got so many different views and thoughts on it all, as a fan of course. So I penned a big article on it all yesterday that not only gives my view on what I want to see and whether I want Potter out, but it also has some important sourced info on what the club are thinking and planning. Also in this, how the players are feeling. Don’t miss this one here! You can also give your own views in this, with many polls on Potter out, and who you’d want to replace him with.
I also reflected on the Southampton game individually, and that was a horrible watch. You can get my thoughts on the game here, even if you’d rather just forget it even happened!
Lack of mentalities is clearly still an issue at this club. I mean, we employed a mentality coach to come in and help with it, that’s how bad it is. But there is a video going around from before The Saints game that really riled me up, and I know it will rile you all up as well. I’ve got that and words on it here.
One thing I do think could help going forward now is to get a bit more of a settled formation and starting Xl. I think we need to perfect it and Potter needs to find his players he can trust and our best formation. More on that here.
Finally, a roundup of all the rest of the general Chelsea news, quotes, fallouts, and transfer rumours from Sunday here.
Have a good Monday, we’ve got Ben Jacobs latest column out later today, AND Blues legend Frank Leboeuf will be speaking about The Saints game and Potter in his latest column out today as well! Safe to say you wont want to miss that one!
Peace, Si.
