In the words of The Inbetweeners, ‘it might be too hot’…..

Aha, it’s going to reach 40 degrees in some place of the UK today, making it a VERY hot one! Still not going to complain though personally!

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend and all managed to find some water to cool off in! Here’s the Chelsea news…

First of all, Rob Pratley has two VERY good updates on two of are main transfer targets we are working on right now after already signing Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly.

The first one brings you the latest on Jules Kounde to Chelsea heating right back up, and this right here is the general situation as of now.

Another defender we are currently negotiating to sign is PSG’s Presnel Kimpembe, who of course worked under Thomas Tuchel in France before Chelsea. This here is the latest on the situation as how we understand.

Sticking with defenders now and I’ve got some more hypotheticals for you that I’ve been pondering. I believe I have put a very good case forward here as to why we only need to sign one more centre back, rather than two, and why we should be putting that money into signing more pressing positions elsewhere on the pitch.

We beat Club America 2-1 in the early hours of Sunday morning in our first pre-season friendly of the new campaign. I had a lot to say after this game, including some pressing frustrations surrounding selection and lack of trying new ideas. You can check that one out here.
