Morning!
If Carlsberg did pictures, then the one above is probably the best you’ll ever see…
Ruben Loftus-Cheek helped fire Chelsea into the FA Cup final yesterday scoring the first goal of two to beat Crystal Palace at Wembley.
Mason Mount grabbed the second goal in what was another Cobham shining session!
Read my initial reactions on the big game here.
As part of that, I’ve got some further words on Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount here in what is the return of the RUBENtada!
Thomas Tuchel was angry in the first half, but he was more than content come the end of the game as he got to his sixth final as Blues boss. Read his reactions here, where he also gives an injury update on Mateo Kovacic.
Next up, I believe that we really need to look at and address our midfield situation in the summer as a point of priority, and there are some pretty big decisions to make. Read about that here.
Finally, some quick updates on the ownership takeover situation here as we reach the end of the race to buy Chelsea Football Club, thankfully. We will soon know who our new owners will be, and it’s quite exciting now to be honest!
Hope you all had a good weekend and enjoyed the game yesterday.
Peace, Si.
