Morning!
Yuk, another painful Monday morning after a Chelsea defeat. Things are very sour right now and quite gloomy. The break, as all the players have been saying, has come at the perfect time to rest and regroup, and boy do we need to do that right now.
I’ve got a long article here reflecting on the Newcastle game, highlighting more issues with some decisions, and just speaking about the general problems we are facing and the situation we are in right now.
Roundup with all the latest Chelsea news from Sunday here now with the general news report. This covers the players reactions to Newcastle, other news, and transfer rumours.
Three sourced stories to finish off your Monday report now, some good, some bad. We’ll start with the bad. Well, not entirely bad, but not great. The latest situation surrounding Mason Mount’s new contract talks here.
Some good news now and one you will certainly want to feast your eyes on. Where are we at with signing Christopher Nkunku? Find out here!
Some more midfielder talk for January next, with news on potential moves for Ruben Neves and/or Bruno Guimaraes here.
Well, it’s time for the World Cup people. I’ll be bringing lots of World Cup content, scouting reports on Chelsea targets etc and other reflections from it. But I’ll also still be bringing the sourced news and transfer updates as we get closer to January now. Things will really heat up now, so if you haven’t subbed yet for full access, I reckon now will be a great time to join our awesome Chelsea community here!
Have a good Monday.
Peace, Si.
if we are rebuilding, why wasn’t a DOF hired prior to making a manager change ?
How is it that a manager is hired before the DOF ?
I’m sure a sensible guy like Vivell, who understands the level of an elite European club will look at someone who’s out of his depth and inexperienced/incapable of managing a club of this size.
