Chelsea Newsletter: Friday 9th Dec
Covering: Two big match reviews for England and Chelsea, who's impressing Potter is training, Sources on Benjamin Sesko and Youssoufa Moukoko, Plus all the latest CFC news and transfer rumours
Morning all!
It really is a happy Friday this week, largely because we have some big matches to look forward to, and it’s not just the World Cup.
The Quarter Finals of the World Cup start tonight, but Chelsea are also back in action on Sunday against Aston Villa in what I like to call a ‘mini pre-season friendly’. I’m excited for it, find out why in my match preview here. This also contains three names who I’ve been told by sources are impressing Graham Potter the most in training this week.
As an England fan, I’m also buzzing for Saturday’s game against France. Do I have any expectations of a win? What is our expected England lineup? Find that out and more here.
The live blog was up and running here as usual yesterday, so that’s the best place to catch all the general Chelsea news and transfer rumours from the last 24 hours.
Some sourced stuff on strikers now as we had a big transfer rumour to rate from this week. Not our story initially and credit to the original source, The Secret Scout, but we also have our sourced info to add to the story on Youssoufa Moukoko here. This also contains further sourced info on RB Salzburg striker, Benjamin Sesko.
Finally, another transfer rumour to rate and this time it is a potential outgoing. Hakim Ziyech to AC Milan has been touted since the start of last summer, will it actually now happen? Find out here.
If you missed it, we recorded an awesome Podcast yesterday with Alex, who runs Chelsea Dodgers Twitter account, to chat about Chelsea, England, and the World Cup! Check that out here.
Have a superb football packed weekend people!
Peace, Si.
