Chelsea Newsletter - Friday 29th April
Covering: Manchester United Review, Sources: Chelsea's Summer Targets, Tammy Abraham's Home Truths, Thomas Tuchel's Future Plans, Ownership Takeover Latest, Plus Loads More..
Morning!
It’s Friday, and it’s the night after a matchday, which is weird, almost like we are back playing in Europe on a Thursday again…. Don’t even go there!
We were at Old Trafford last night to face Manchester United in another big game that we should have had done and dusted in the first half if it wasn’t for wasted chances yet again. I’ve got my thoughts from the game here in my watch along review.
Best place to head to next is another jam-packed live blog from yesterday here covering the latest on the ownership takeover situation, as well as some transfer news and some key quotes from various figures throughout the day.
There has been a lot said about Thomas Tuchel’s future and some fear amongst the dressing room this week. As I said right away, there was some substance to these reports, and here I have gone into much more detail on exactly what I meant by this and added more context.
Next up, an article here detailing our summer targets based on what I have been told by a collection of good sources. These include both club and Tuchel targets for all areas of the pitch.
Finally, Tammy Abraham has done a couple of revealing interviews this week and he has spoken a lot about leaving Chelsea. He touches upon how he feels that Thomas Tuchel didn’t trust him and he needed to be shown belief. Some quite interesting quotes in here to be honest.
We are recording a post-match Podcast later this afternoon and that will have my further thoughts on the game last night, and we will also be discussing transfer stuff for the summer, and the latest on the club takeover. That will be out tonight!
Have a super (super? I literally NEVER us that word in this context, weird) weekend all!
Peace, Si.
