Chelsea Newsletter - Friday 28th January
Covering: Dembele, Tchouameni, Kounde, Sule, Rudiger, Azpi updates, JT's NFTs, Future of our attackers, Chelsea's quiet January any late drama?
Happy Friday people!
It’s rather bland without any domestic football, right? Never enjoy these breaks, but at least the players are and they needed it badly.
The majority of our players have been on short vacations this week making most of the break. Hopefully they will come back refreshed and ready to attack the latter part of the season.
The January transfer window has been equally as bland for Chelsea fans. Despite all the noise and rumours we have been seeing and hearing, it doesn’t look like we are going to do much business now, if any at all. There’s a slight chance of some late drama, but as I report here, all is quiet in the boardroom.
We should be keeping an eye on the Ousmane Dembele situation though for sure, but there are mixed reports going around about the latest on him, and you can check those out here in yesterday’s Live Chelsea News Blog, plus loads more including addressing the Aurelien Tchouameni to Real Madrid rumours.
Next up, updates on Jules Kounde, Niklas Sule, Antonio Rudiger, and Cesar Azpilicueta in a sourced story here.
Another sourced story here and this time the focus is on our attackers, Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Romelu Lukaku, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Romelu Lukaku.
Finally, our captain, leader, and legend has been annoying a few of his own fans recently with his NFT posts on Twitter. A look in to that and why it concerns me here.
Remember, our Podcast with Chelsea reporter Jacob Steinburg from The Guardian will be out later on today late afternoon/early evening, so don’t miss that!
Have a great weekend all, Si.
