Chelsea Newsletter - Friday 26th August
Covering: Fofana saga continues, Aubameyang optimism, What Tuchel is planning, Leicester preview and predictions, Plus all the latest Chelsea transfer news and more...
Morning!
We’re at Friday again people, reasons to be cheerful. And tomorrow, is match day! We also look forward to a match day regardless of our form and not knowing what to expect! I know we are heading into a decisive week in the transfer market, but I’m keeping the faith here as ever.
Attentions have turned to Leicester City tomorrow, for now at least, and I’ve got my line up/score predictions and match preview article here.
Chelsea’s Champions League group was announced yesterday as well, so you can re-cap this, as well as get all the latest Chelsea transfer news and our own sourced info here in yesterday’s live blog.
Next up, if Chelsea manage to get all three of their final transfer targets over the line this week, here is a look at what I believe Thomas Tuchel is working on with his transitional line ups and formations.
Some words on the Wesley Fofana transfer saga now here, and I realise most people are getting really annoyed with this one. But I do believe these are negotiation tactics from Chelsea and I am just hoping keeping positive that they know what they’re doing! They’re very smart people our new owners, so I’m running with that!
On Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, I’ve got some words here as well. Tuchel wants to be reunited, and the player wants to be reunited, make it happen!
Remember, we recorded a Pod last night with Rob Pratley going over all the latest transfer stories and what we expect to happen ahead of the final week of the summer transfer window. You can check that out here.
Have a cracking weekend! I’ll back jump on if I get any significant news or need to speak on any big stories that might come out! Otherwise, speak Sunday!
Peace, Si.
Would you do a scout report on Zakharayn, like you did for Chukweumeka
