Chelsea Newsletter - Friday 1st July
Covering: Boehly's approach to transfers, Turmoil under old regime, A 'tribute' to Lukaku, Sourced centre-back updates, plus Raphinha, Sterling, Kounde, Ake etc....
Morning!
It’s July already, and pre-season is about to begin. I’m really excited for the new season and to see Chelsea play again!
As the live blog goes on deep into the evening every night, it’s always best to start there to get the very latest Chelsea news on all of our rumoured transfer deals. Check that one out here after another crazy day involving us!
Leading on from all the rumours, I have some sourced defender updates here on Matthijs De Ligt, Kalidou Koulibaly, Nathan Ake, Gleison Bremer, Jules Kounde, and much more.
Todd Boehly has been taking a very refreshing approach in the transfer window according to one reporter. I’ve also spoken to an agent who’s colleagues have already had dealings with Boehly, and this agent has had previous dealings with Chelsea under the old regime. So as you can imagine, we have a very interesting article for you here.
*I wanted to put out a tribute to my great friend Romelu Lukaku and wish him all the very best for his bright future in Italy here next. *Please note sarcasm….
Unfortunately my final story of the day brings the tone down a little, and it’s a very sad story, but one that I wanted to help get out there because it’s a devastating thing that has happened. More people need to know about this, and I hope it brings drastic changes from our new ownership. Read about the turmoil at Chelsea here.
We also have our latest Podcast out on the homepage now. Recorded on Thursday at 4pm, Rob Pratley joined me on the show to go over all of the latest Chelsea transfer news using his insights and info. Not only was he on the Pod, he also put part three of his articles series explaining how transfer work out which you can find here.
Have a crackin’ weekend all!
Peace, Si.
Quiet news day today , must mean stuff is happening 👌🏽
Do you think there could be some more Raphinha/Dembele movement today. Dembele is officially a free agent now...
