Chelsea monitor Kudus? Being in the top 4 is NOT an achievement alone - Maresca is tone deaf, Goals v Fulham are perfect example to our attackers, NOW is the time to be bold in selections, Much more..
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 22nd April 2025!
Morning all,
Hope you had a great long weekend if you were lucky enough to get it off for Easter.
Chelsea are next in action this coming Saturday at home to Everton and as every game is now if we want to qualify for the Champions League, it’s a must win. How nice is it to play on a Saturday again too!?
Still having some post-match thoughts after our 2-1 win over Fulham on Sunday and I’ve written an article on the comments made by Enzo Maresca after the game. Why does he do it to himself? The man is completely tone deaf and I have no idea why he needs to speak this way. Check that out in full here.
Our goals on Sunday were a perfect example of what all of our attackers need to be doing right now - literally just hitting a shot on sight. Pedro Neto and Tyrique George showed exactly what we need to be doing in and around the box rather than trying to pass it into the net. Words on that here.
Moving forward, now is the time to be bold and brave now for Maresca. He needs to take the big decisions now and drop a player or two based on form and merit. Some of these players, such as Ty George, deserve to start now at the weekend. You can check that one out here.
Are Chelsea monitoring Mohammed Kudus? They have had him on the radar before recently, so is there fresh interest coming in? Honing in on an exclusive from our sister site here, and debating whether he should be on the list or not.
And of course as always, you can get all of your latest general Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place here. Covers transfer news, interviews, quotes, opinions and more.
See you all on the next live blog from around 8.30am today on the home page!
Peace, Si.
