Chelsea Have Bank Accounts Frozen, Gov Push For Sale, Boehly And Candy Lead The Way

Some updates for you guys as you will all probably see right now some breaking news regarding Chelsea once again this afternoon.

The Times claim that Chelsea have had their bank accounts frozen:

‘Sources at the club have warned that, despite the licence, several of the club’s corporate accounts, including credit cards, have been frozen because banks are being “risk-averse”.’

This really isn’t any different to what we knew from yesterday really. Chelsea have had their assets frozen but been given special permission by the UK Government to be able to carry on as a football club as normal as possible, but essentially that still meant they would be having their accounts frozen. So I don’t really think this is anything majorly new from yesterday.
