CHELSEA ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!!!! I'm back off holiday! Sources: Chelsea still in for a new goalkeeper, It's an achievement getting to CWC final regardless, Blues News Report, Much more....
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 14th July 2025!
Morning all!
Wow, where do I even start!? Chelsea are Champions of the world and what a feeling that is. We thrashed PSG to win the trophy too, what a day, what a moment. I tried to stay awake after the trophy lift to write a review but I failed I am afraid, so that will come this morning instead! But Chelsea were incredible from start to finish. Enzo Maresca, the players, they were all incredible. Props to them, the owners, the SDs, and anyone involved at the football club for this amazing achievement. I said it was already an achievement to reach the final, but they went ahead and took it a step further. Absolute scenes!
I’m back off holiday and normal service has resumed. I have an ‘I’m back’ article that I put out yesterday for anyone who is interested. It’s a bit of a review of the holiday - Solly’s first abroad trip, how we got on, some photos etc. I know many are interested to hear how it all went, so you can check that here.
Of course, most of you are here for the transfer news and Chelsea content though, obviously. And I had a bit of a transfer drop on new goalkeepers out yesterday that you can check out here if you haven’t already. I had plenty of transfer news out last week whilst I was away via the Substack App as well, and I’ll have more coming out this week!
I also wrote an article before the Club World Cup final saying that whatever happened last night, reaching the final is a big achievement for all involved at the club and they should all be praised for that alone. The pathway to final was certainly favourable, but nothing should be taken away from them. Article in full here.
I also rounded up all the general Chelsea news from Sunday ahead of the game here. I will round up the reactions from after the game on the live blog out soon this morning, but it was too late for me to do all that last night!
See you all soon on the live blog from around 8.30am!
Peace, Si.
That was a score line I didn’t expect maybe 3-0 to them but we were the best team and absolutely deserved to win with some great performances all over the pitch.
I have sleep only 2 hours, but the vibes to wake up was out of this world! What a way to start the "new season". Well, well deserved win to us and I can clearly see this young Team giving us so much more joyful moments throughout the 25/26 season! 💪🏼💙🏆🌎
