Morning all,

It was a Chelsea match day yesterday and a hugely convenient time for me personally to watch and report on the game. 7pm is perfect as it’s not too late, but our baby is in bed so I’m not needed for Daddy duties and I can still get a reasonably early night! #DadLife

The Blues faced one of our bogey sides Brentford last night in the Premier League. We avoided another potential banana skin to increase more pressure on Liverpool and pull away from Arsenal with a four point gap! Are we dreaming!?

There was a few stories going around over the weekend, some transfer related ones. So I checked in with our sources on a number of these reports that came out to see where we are at with many of them, including new goalkeeper rumours, new striker links, and a bunch of stuff from an Athletic article. Meanwhile, a sentence that I never expected to write - Danny Murphy TALKS SENSE…. The former Liverpool player turned pundit has been speaking on Jadon Sancho and for once, he is spot on. Sancho is Manchester United’s loss and Chelsea’s gain, read much more on that in here.

This next article was written before the Brentford game, but the points stand regardless. I actually don’t think that clubs in general, not just Chelsea, will be presented with a better opportunity to win the Premier League title than they are getting this season. The demise of other clubs who are meant to be challenging right now, has really opened it up. Read more on that in here.
