Chelsea 1 Copenhagen 0, Legia Warsaw next! Sources: Jobe Bellingham, 10 to go - Forecasting, Joe Cole: Winning Conference League alone is not success, HERE WE GO Quenda to Chelsea! More...
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Friday 14th March 2025!
Morning all,
We had the latest Podcast out yesterday ahead of our game against Copenhagen and finally, it was myself back with Jai for the first time in I reckon around two months! Yikes! Good to be back with my favourite ginger! You can listen here if you’ve not already!
Chelsea had the second leg against Copenhagen last night after leading 2-1 in the first leg. After what has become a familiar very poor first half, Chelsea turned it around in the second half to win the game 1-0 and the tie 3-1 on aggregate to set themselves up to face Legia Warsaw in the quarter finals!
You can grab my thoughts on the game, my debrief, ratings, conclusion and more here.
Ten games to go now in the Premier League, and our man Luke has taken a look at them and forecast his predictions. Luke has us finishing the season with just one point more than last season but within the UCL spots. Check out how he’s reached his conclusions here.
Joe Cole has been speaking about what would be a success for Chelsea this season. He says that winning the Conference League alone would not be a success. But what about qualifying for Champions League football alone? Or doing both? Cole has words on that here, and I have given you all a chance to answer those three questions on this article as well in the form of some polls.
I also had a sourced article out yesterday reporting on Chelsea’s interest in Jobe Bellingham. Is it legit? Can Chelsea sign him? Will they push? Find all of that out and more here.
All your general news from across the last 24 hours can be found in the same place here. Covers everything, including transfer news, quotes, stats, and all in between!
Whilst most of us were sleeping last night, even those of us with babies for once, Fabrizio Romano dropped a ‘here we go’ done deal that came out of nowhere.
He says:
‘Chelsea agree deal for Portuguese top talent Geovany Quenda, here we go!
‘Medical DONE for Quenda after secret blitz, he will join Chelsea in 2026.
‘Club to club agreement completed with Sporting and Quenda said yes to Chelsea project & Enzo Maresca’s plans.’
That’s it for this week, I’ll be back on the site on Sunday in time for the Arsenal game. Anything big before then, I’ll be on the Substack App.
Have a great weekend all!
Peace, Si.
