Bournemouth preview, closing on a backup GK, The Daily Haaland, midfielder updates, RLC & CHO shining in training

Welcome to a happy and positive Chelsea FC Newsletter from us today and you know why? Because it is an actual Chelsea FC match day, the first proper one of our new season!

The boys are making the short trip to Bournemouth today for another test and stretch of the legs. All about match fitness right now, but you sure as hell know that Thomas Tuchel will be hunting a victory regardless.

I’ve made an impossible attempt to predict a starting Xl here, and offered my thoughts ahead of the match tonight, it also has details of how you can watch etc.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi you can safely put money on getting some solid minutes again tonight, and both of them have been impressing Thomas Tuchel in training. Read more about that here.

Meanwhile, it’s looking much like a backup goalkeeper will be our first signing announced this summer, and that could come very soon.

How about some midfielder updates? I have some random bits I have been told here on potential outgoings and arrivals.

And finally, we have to address it as it seems like we do weekly right now, but you probably all saw cfcnewspage’s (from Instagram) Erling Haaland update causing a storm on Sunday, right?

I’ve been asked my views on it and what I know, so I’ve put my thoughts down on that situation and the general situation surrounding Haaland as it stands as far as I am aware at the moment, peep that here.

That’s all for now folks but on a side note, I’m really not enjoying the cesspit that is Twitter right now, it always seems so tense, so impatient, so angry, and everyone is always at each others throats over football - It’s really sad to see, and I’m only on there now because I do this.

But the point of me saying this is moving forward, I am going to be using this site a lot more as the place I will be posting most of my information and interacting with you guys in comments. So any info I do get, I think I’ll start just putting it up on here. I know it will get back to Twitter eventually, but I enjoy the community side of things more on here.
