The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Thursday 3rd of April 2025!
Morning all,
First and foremost, it’s a Chelsea match day and today I am heading to Stamford Bridge to watch us against Spurs. It’s been a while. Unfortunately it does mean that I can’t run a live blog today as I’ll be travelling. I can’t even get Luke to run it for me as he and Danny Windsor are coming with me! I will have content out today though with the usual five articles coming at ya around lunchtime. And if anyone is at the game tonight and wants to try meet at some point, let us know! I obviously wont be able to review the game either but I will be back on at the weekend with my post-match thoughts. However, the good news is Luke WILL review the game first thing on Friday and we will get that in the newsletter for tomorrow, but it will be out a bit later than usual :)
To the content now, and you can see everything Enzo Maresca had to say in his pre-match press conference here along with ALL the rest of your general Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place!
There was also some words from Maresca on the Chelsea website earlier in the week. I focused on the positive words he said here and wanted to applaud that, especially ahead of a massive game that we MUST win tonight. Fighting talk from the boss is what we love to hear.
There’s been more noise out on new strikers this week and Benjamin Sesko is very much in the fray. Sesko was mentioned along with Liam Delap and Jonathan David, and this had tongues wagging. I’ve put my views here as well as delivered some sourced news on it and put out some poll results from earlier this week.
Bournemouth have set their asking prices for a number of their players this summer and Chelsea have been strongly linked with four of them. Check out what the prices and players are in here, then decide in the polls if you would pay that for them to come to Chelsea this summer.
And we have what I think will now be the final article of my summer transfer window series, which happens to be a nice round number with Episode Four. You can read all about that here - it’s who I predict Chelsea will sell this summer.
Right, you’ll have a newsletter drop by tomorrow morning but obviously I’ll be writing it before the game tonight so bare that in mind. I’ll get a match discussion thread going on the app later too. And of course, that is where I will head to if I get any team news for tonight or any other info, as I am not taking my laptop with me today.
Peace, Si.
Enjoy the game tonight Si. I'll be there in the MHU.
