14 ways to break down a low block, Jason Cundy goes in on Mudryk, but is he right? Tosin has offer to play for Nigeria but holds out for England, Community appears happier but has chunk of concerns...
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 9th October 2024!
Morning all!
We are cracking through October now, the month of spookiness! Chelsea will soon be back in action, but before that we have the scary period (please note the Halloween reference) of hoping we come through the international break without any injuries!
I wrote a big article for today that is all about breaking down a low block and how we can do it. This is a bit of a deep dive article that I enjoyed writing in here.
Why did I write this? Well, there are still some concerns from our community, who are certainly still a bit cautious despite Chelsea’s good start to the season. I think a couple of our community members have made some good points in here, one of which is about Chelsea still struggling against a low block setup, which saw me write my article above. In this as well is some polls so you can all give your views on the points made.
Jason Cundy is never one to hold back, and the former Chelsea defender has gone in a bit on Mykhailo Mudryk this week, saying he has no football IQ, and that his feet are much faster than his brain. Harsh? Give your opinion on that in here, and read a bit about mine.
Tosin Adarabioyo has a big decision to make, and since we are in an international break right now, this is a fitting story. It seems Tosin is holding out for a senior England call-up, but will that come? Nigeria want him to play for them and have met him to ask him to commit to them, but that hasn’t happened yet. Will it? Find out in here.
And of course, round up all your latest Chelsea news in the same place in here with yesterday’s live blog. Covering transfer news, quotes, interviews, and much more!
Peace, Si.
One point I would like to make is at the women’s champions league game against Real Madrid the club limited the crowd to 5,000 as not to incur extra costs. Obviously I don’t know the full story but it doesn’t feel right.
