The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Thursday 9th May 2024!
Morning all,
Hope you are having a good week!
Myself and Jai will be recording the latest episode of The SPTC Podcast later on today, so look out for that in your emails! Big game to speak about on Saturday!
I’ll be previewing the Nottingham Forest game more today on the site in article format as well, and Chelsea have a chance of getting Europe now. So that will be out later too.
Now to today’s content.
First up, I had some sourced news on outgoings and the overall striker situation at Chelsea. Armando Broja will be sold this summer, providing a suitor can be found. There are two clubs I know who have registered an interest, and I reveal those in here and give a general update on the above.
Mauricio Pochettino’s future is continuing to bring debates amongst the Chelsea fan base, and I have seen opinions change vastly after just THREE games! It’s really surprised me to be honest. I polled it out this week and have gone through the results here, with a clear change of stance, even from those in this community.
Another set of votes has drawn my attention today. I asked you all if you had to sell one of Axel Disasi or Tevoh Chalobah this summer and FFP/PSR is not a thing, who would you sell? These results are in here as well as some comment from me.
The anchor man Luke has a really good article for you all today and he has got his scouting/coaching hat firmly on for this one. He is pondering an inverted role for Reece James, and I actually think this could be a great shout! More on that in here.
Of course, head to yesterday’s live blog here to gather all your latest Chelsea news in one place from across the last 24 hours. As they happened too late for me at the time, I’ve rounded up the end of season Chelsea awards event in this, as well as all your latest transfer news!
Todd Boehly has also spoken, and I will have all of those quotes in full up on the live blog shortly!
See you all there from around 8.30am today!
Peace, Si.
