The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Thursday 24th October 2024!
Morning all,
Welcome to a Chelsea FC European match day newsletter! It’s nice to have these back, even though they are on a Thursday night. Not for too much longer, let’s hope.
Chelsea travel to Greece to face Panathinaikos, who are not quite the team they have been in the past. Even still, it’s going to be a tough game in their stadium with a huge crowd expected to be backing them. It’s a test for Chelsea for sure, but even the ‘second string’ lineup should have more than enough to do the job tonight. You can read my full thoughts and predicted Xl ahead of the game in here.
We also had a big SPTC round table Podcast out yesterday, and this one was very enjoyable. I was joined by The Score, Luke Rushbrook, and Danny Windsor to chat about all the recent Chelsea news, the Liverpool game, and ahead to tonight and the weekend. Do check that out here if you haven’t already.
One of the things we spoke on was the Josh Acheampong situation and the fact he is being frozen out. I spoke a bit on this too, but you can get my entire and full opinion on it in here. These situations are never going to sit well with me, unfortunately.
And in an article that is much better late than never, Dylan has offered three positives from the defeat to Liverpool on Sunday. This is my fault as I didn’t realise it was in drafts and ready to go, but please do check that out here!
Luke has his scouting report out on Liam Delap!! I’ve been impatiently waiting for this to come out as I’m eager to see what he’s saying about Delap, a player who Chelsea are heavily scouting this season and a player I really rate. So do make sure you check that out in here.
As always, grab all your latest Chelsea news from the last 24 hours in the same place in here. This covers quotes, interviews, Enzo Maresca’s pre-match press conference, transfer rumours, and so much more!
Right, see you all on the next live blog today where we will be leading up to tonight’s game and reporting all the news!
Peace, Si.
